Scientific African offers Scientific Content Management to individual scholars and scientific institutions on its Scientific African Open Archive Server (SAOAS). Individual scholars or institutions can either join the Scientific African Community and upload contents onto the Scientific African Website , or manage their own CMS provided by Scientific African.

The project was terminated in 2006.
